At Cosmopolitan, we are fully committed to ensuring that our salon is a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. We have made tweeks and changes so that we are Covid secure, and take the guidelines currently set out by government very seriously. Please take a minute to give our guidelines a read prior to your appointment. This ensures your pampering session runs as smoothly as it should!

  • You must not arrive to your appointment if you feel unwell, or have any Covid-19 symptoms. These are fever, new or persistent cough, loss of taste or smell. Please contact your stylist/therapist who will advise you on rebooking.

  • Clients are required to wear a mask In salon at all times. It is preferable that this be disposable. Especially for hair colouring services, as we cannot guarentee that tint will not ruin any cotton or reusable masks.

  • You must attend your appointment alone. We cannot have children or friends waiting in the salon, as we are restricting the amount of people in at one time.

  • Please arrive on time to your appointment. This avoids over crowding in the salon. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car, our outside until your appointment time.

  • Wash/sanitise your hands on arrival. We have many sanitiser points around the salon. Disposable hand towels and automatic dispensers are now fitted in our bathroom. 

  • Our staff will be adhering to the current guidelines, in regards to PPE. 

  • We cannot currently store coats and jackets on our usual coat rail. Please leave these items in your car, or fold into a bag which can be hung on each workstation if weather outside is bad.

  • Our bathroom is available for you to use, and will be cleaned constantly throughout the day. We will have sanitising and disinfecting products available for clients to use, if they wish to.

  • We will not be able to offer magazines, or refreshments at this time. Please do feel free to bring your own.

  • Our salon layout has been completely changed. There is now a safe distance of 2m between every workstation. This means that we havent had to instal barriers, except for our backwash area where this is unavoidable. We have a large acrylic barrier seperating this seated area to ensure clients a apart.

  • Deep cleaning the salon is now a very regular occurance. All tools used are sanitised between clients. Workstations, handles, chairs and countertops are also fully cleaned prior to your arrival.

  • We have reduced the amount of staff, on our hairdressing side of the salon, from 4 to 3. This is to avoid overcrowding, and ensures our clients have a dedicated area for the duration of their appointment. This also means that your stylists/therapists working days or hours may have changed.
