Ashleigh
Senior Stylist
Ashleigh started her hairdressing career at the age of 14 as a Saturday girl. Upon leaving high school, she continued her training in Manchester, and went on to gain an NVQ2, SAKS Diploma and various L'Oreal trade qualifications.
After having her first child, she went on to work as a stylist in Droylsden. Here, she was first introduced to the Milk_shake hair care range and loved it instantly! She attended courses on colour correction and advanced colouring techniques with ITALY colour. She left after having her second child and took some time away from Hairdressing to be a stay at home mum.
In March 2016, she decided to venture back into the hairdressing, renting a chair in Mossley. She met Leah and her friend Sami and just under a year later, the idea for Cosmopolitan was born!
She has nearly 16 years of experience in the industry, but knows there is always more to learn! Ashleigh hopes to complete an extensions course in 2017 to add to her skills. She also plans to get herself involved in more competition work, as this was a passion of hers as a trainee.
Leah
Senior Stylist
Leah's passion for her job started at 16 when she enrolled onto an apprenticeship. She's always believed that its crucial to attend shows and classes when you work in such a fast paced industry such as hairdressing. And so she continues to do just that!
She loves to work with Milk_shake and Matrix products, to achieve the best results on her clients hair. She enjoys all aspects of a hairdressers day, whether that be curly blows, root touch ups or complete make overs! But her real love will always lie with cutting. She loves how a haircut is unique to each person and there are never 2 the same.
Being able to send her clients off happy with their hair, is something Leah takes great pride in. She loves to meet new people, and hear everyones different stories.
A relaxed atmosphere where you can chat away your troubles, is the only one you'll find at Cosmopolitan. Heads up though, Leah loves Pip, her beloved hungarian vizsla ... so be very prepared for cute doggy talk when your sat in her chair!
Samantha
Beauty Therapist
Samantha, started working in the salon at age 13. Working in beauty has always been her passion. Upon leaving high school, she went on to gain an NVQ3 in Beauty therapy including Nails.
She has undertaken courses and gained qualifications with Lash Perfect in semi permanent lashes, and is an official HD Brow technician.
She has 12 years experience in the industry and loves nothing more than to send her clients on their way, feeling and looking a million dollars.
The birth of Cosmopolitan is a massive jump for Samantha, as this is the first time she has ventured out on her own, but with her experience, passion for her work, and amazing personality... she is sure to be a huge success.
Her goals are to continue to learn and grow, both for her clients and herself. She has so many ideas of things to do to add her skills, that we couldn't list them all! First stop for her this year though, is a new qualification with LVL lashes in April. Watch this space, Samantha is on a roll.
Alicia
Nail Technician
Alicia has been in the nail industry for over 8 years and is very passionate about her job ensuring every client leaves feeling amazing.
Alicia has all the tools to create which ever nail design you would like and over 300 gel colours and glitters!
Hayley
Beauty therapist
Hayley is our Beauty Therapist with over 8 years in the industry.
The lash queen as we call her! She is the ultimate perfectionist when it comes to her job. Hayley's aim is to make you feel amazing when you walk out of the salon ensuring you only receive the best service.
The treatments that are available to book with Hayley are Silk, Russian, Classic & Hybrid lashes, Microblading eyebrows & a list of different Aesthetic treatments.
